About the event

The United Nations Office at Geneva and UNFPA present the exhibition “The 68 Million” on Thursday 6 February 2020 at the Palais des Nations, Exhibition Gallery, E. Building, 3rd Floor.

To commemorate the International Day of Zero Tolerance for Female Genital Mutilation UNFPA encourage global community members to celebrate the successes that have been achieved over the past decades in the urgent global fight to abandon this practice. The exhibition features young women representing a new generation of leaders and champions in the fight to end FGM. The exhibition will be inaugurated on February 6th and will remain open until after the opening of the 43rd Session of the Human Rights Council.
