The Library offers a user training programme to acquaint users with our resources, collections and services, including the the use of United Nations documents collections.

Training sessions

Library information sessions (LIS) are organized on demand for groups. They can cover the following topics:
  • The UNOG Library and its services
  • Structure and retrieval of UN documentation
  • Searching the UNOG Library's catalogue for publications and ordering items online
  • Searching the UNOG Library’s electronic resources

Coaching sessions

Consisting of tailor-made information sessions, the Personal Knowledge Management Programme (PKM) is mainly designed for the special requirements of UNOG services. It is offered upon request to individuals or teams who share the same needs.
