The Director-General attends the opening of the tenth United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD) Debt Management Conference which will explore current and topical issues in debt management and public finance.

The Director-General meets with Mr. Peter Drennan, Under-Secretary-General for Safety and Security.

The Director-General meets with H.E. Mr. Michael D. Higgins, President of Ireland, on the occasion of his presence in Geneva for the UNCTAD Debt Management Conference.

The Director-General receives Ms. Marilena Viviani, Director of the new UNICEF Geneva Liaison Office.

The Director-General gives the welcoming remarks at the UN Library Talks on “Capacity building for global action to achieve Agenda 2030 - Panel discussion with UN experts in training and research and representatives of member states”.

The Director-General gives remarks at the opening of the 2015 United Nations Women’s Guild Bazaar at UNOG, a fundraising initiative to finance projects for disadvantaged children worldwide.

The Director-General travels to Bern to accompany UN Deputy Secretary-General Jan Eliasson during his mission to Bern, to participate in the Annual Democracy Forum 2015 and meet the Swiss authorities.

The Director-General meets with Mr. Lelio Marmora, Executive Director of UNITAID, an organisation engaged in finding new ways to prevent, treat and diagnose HIV/AIDS, tuberculosis and malaria more quickly, more cheaply and more effectively.
