Getting Here

The Library is located inside the United Nations compound. The visitors entrance is at the Pregny Gate (8, avenue de la Paix, in front of the International Committee of the Red Cross building), where security formalities take place.

The 8, F, V and Z buses, all of which call at Cornavin railway station, will take you to the “Appia” bus stop, the closest one to the Pregny Gate of the Palais.

Numbers 5, 11 and 14 stop at the “Place des Nations” from where you can either walk or take one of the above-mentioned buses to the Pregny Gate.

The 18 bus runs from the airport to “Appia”.

Visitors cars are not allowed in the United Nations car parks. For further information, contact Security at the Pregny Gate (Telephone number: +41 (0)22 917 29 53).

All visitors must have valid identification (id-card, passport or driving license) and a valid student card or letter of recommendation from their university or research institute.
