Sparks – Share inspiration online
Have you seen this? Did you hear that? Many things begin with a spark that flies when an inspiring person tells something. Sparks are the debates that catalyze new ideas, the activities that energize, and the words that make a difference.
Sparks used to be confined to the walls of the Library. In a world where the Internet has cemented its position as a key communication tool, it is Facebook that constitutes a meeting place in the virtual world:
Catalyzing discussion and debate among the Organization, member states and civil society, the UNOG Library Talks provide an increasingly recognized and valued forum for intellectual and academic exchange.
Highlighting the rich cultural heritage of “We the peoples of the United Nations”, the Cultural Activities Programme at UNOG has turned the Palais des Nations into a veritable centre of cultural diplomacy in celebration of the diversity of the world.
Providing striking snapshots of history, the League of Nations Museum is a rich resource for exploring the past in order to better understand the present and the future.
The UNOG Library has always been the ‘home’ of inspiration, innovation and knowledge. All ‘sparks’ have found their virtual home on the UNOG Library’s three Facebook pages.
