The Printing Section is responsible for the cost-effective, timely and quality printing of conference documents and publications.
To achieve these objectives, the Section is equipped with the latest highly advanced technologically developed graphic arts equipment that is capable of producing printed work ranging from black and white documents with simple binding to sophisticated multi-colour publications with special binding. Two distinct production lines have been established, i.e. pre-press and electronic printing, and offset printing and binding.
With regard to job submission, a production control office incorporating estimating functions has also been established.
Among the staff members working in reproduction are skilled layout/design artists using advanced software, qualified offset printers, bookbinders and staff who have been trained on the latest high-speed electronic printers.
